"Senoviniu motociklu saskrydis ralis"Kurzemes rinkis 2007";
The Round Kurland Rally is an annual event with the emphasis on the active riding of historic motorcycles in the most picturesque part of Latvia - Kurland. It will consist of a Road Run and a Regularity Hill Climb as well as other activities as tested successfully since 2003.

The 2007 event will be held over the weekend of 13th - 15th July and will be based at the Slokenbek estate - an ideal venue providing food, overnight accommodation and shelter for machines and participants, and all in neat and pleasant surroundings. For overnight security the machines will be guarded by the police.
The Rally is dedicated to the memory of Alexander Leutner - a Kurland born engineer of German descent. Leutner can be regarded as a true motorcycling and motoring pioneer and one of the first producers of motor vehicles in the territory of Latvia, once part of Tsarist Russia.

The Rally participants will assemble at the Riga Motor Museum after 13:00 hours -- in the afternoon of 13th July, 2007 for an Afternoon 60 km Social Run to Slokenbek near Tukums.

The Timed Road Run route will be changed each year, retaining Slokenbeck always as a base. The Regularity Hill Climb will hopefully remain a part of the Round Kurland Rally. This year there will be a 90 km Timed/Untimed Road Run (entirely on asphalted road) to the Port of Dreams -- Roja -- an ancient port town, first mentioned in 1387. After lunch and a chance walk in the town the participants will be flagged off for a short Social Run along the coastal road to the Cape of Kolka. At the Cape two seas merge and there is a mark on a huge granite stone identifying this place as a cross point of Europe. It is planned to visit some places of interest at the Slitere National Park. The total riding distance over the 3 rally days is approximately 400 km.

Entry and Accommodation Fees can be paid by VISA, Eurocard MASTERCARD credit cards as well as by bank transfer to the organizer's account (please enquire for details). The Entry Fees will include: all meals; tickets to the Welcome Dinner on Friday and Dinner and Dance on Saturday; guarded vehicle parking, rally souvenirs, etc.
